How to Customize Your Post Design

Open up a new or created post and click on the 'Settings' tab to customize the design of your post in the following ways:

🎨 Theme Color

To change the theme color, select the Blue dot icon. Choose from the color palette or select any color in the spectrum. You'll see the color reflect immediately on the right side of the editor.

🎨 Text Color

To change the text color, select the Black dot icon. Choose from the color palette or select any color in the spectrum. You'll see the color reflect immediately on the right side of the editor.

🎨 Background Color

To change the background color, select the White dot icon. Choose from the color palette or select any color in the spectrum. You'll see the color reflect immediately on the right side of the editor.

✏️ Heading Font

To change the heading font, click on the 'Default' button. Select one of the cool fonts from the dropdown menu to make your elink post stand out. Once the font has been selected you'll see the font reflect immediately on the right side of the editor.

✏️Body Font

To change the body font, click on the 'Default' button. Select one of the cool fonts from the dropdown menu to make your elink post stand out. Once the font has been selected you'll see the font reflect immediately on the right side of the editor.

How to Customize Your Link Settings

🔗 Maximum Links

When you create an elink post there are times that you need it to be updated on a regular basis. If you've embedded that elink post on a website that could mean that over time your embed of 6 visual bookmarks grows to 50.

elink allows you to cap the number of links displayed. This means if you cap it at 6 the most recent 6 visual bookmarks will be displayed even as you add more weblinks to that elink post.

Your maximum links are defaulted to show the most recent 50. You can decrease or increase this number at any time.

As you adjust this number, you'll see the links displayed on the right will get adjusted accordingly.

🆗 Button text

On many of the layouts you'll see a 'View More' call-to-action button on each visual link for your elink posts. Now you can edit the text and write 'Read More', 'Buy Now', 'Download', or write something in another language!

Click on the 'Customize Links' section in settings and customize the button text.



📏Title Length
You can set the maximum title length you would like for your links. This is a really helpful feature if you need your tiles to line up.

📏Description Length
You can set the maximum description length you would like for your links. This is a really helpful feature if you need your tiles to line up.

🔍Search Bar
You can add a search bar to your links section of the post. This is a smart way to help your audience find whaat they are looking for. This feature is available for single web pages and website embeds.

How to Customize Your SEO Settings or Make it Private

Go to the SEO/Private section and you will see three options:

🔄 Automatic

If you click the Automatic button, elink's platform will automatically fill in your elink SEO settings on your behalf.

⌨️ Custom

You can customize your SEO title, description and keywords for your elink to help it rank on Google SERPs.

Select the 'Custom' button in the SEO settings of your post and add an SEO-friendly title, description and keyword to give your elink that extra SEO boost.

You can also change your elink's public image, by clicking on the Social/OG Image section. The recommended size of the public image is 900 x 575 pixels. Your public image is what will show up for social media networks, Slack, Skype, etc.

If you are interested in customizing your URL, you will have the option when you click on 'Publish'. A pop up will appear allowing you to customize your URL. You won't be able to change it once it's published, so make it perfect!

🔐 Private

Sometimes you have internal content that you want to share with your team or company and want to share it with a private link. Private elink posts do not get indexed by Google.

Select the Make it Private checkbox in the SEO settings of your elink.
