# How to Use elink's Smart Widgets

elink's distraction-free text editor allows you to build amazing intros and conclusions to the content you're creating. Here are just some of the things you can do:

* 6 different heading styles
* Bold
* Italics
* Hyperlink
* Bullet List
* Numbered List
* Justification - left align, center align, right align
* Block Quotes
* Dividers
* Images
* Buttons
* Social Icons
* Inline Code
* Emojis
* Superscript
* Subscript

There are 4 main tips to help you use elink's editor:

1. Start typing and highlight your text to format it. You can choose from 6 different heading styles, bold, italics, hyperlink, bullet list, numbered List or justification.

2. Click on any blank line and you'll see a (+) icon. Click on that to activate block widgets. From this menu you can add 6 different headings, block quotes, numbered lists, bullet lists, dividers, images, buttons and social icons.

3. To activate the (+) menu and add widgets without lifting your hands from the keyboard you can type / (backslash) on any blank line and the widget menu will open. You can type the word of the block you want to add and hit enter. This is a faster way to create content!

4. On the bottom left corner of the editor popup, you'll see a keyboard shortcut button. Click on this to learn how to do undo, redo, add emojis, remove paragraph spacing, inline code and much more!
