How to Add Web Links in the Editor?

There are 5 ways to add web links when you're creating an elink post:

You can web links to your elink posts in five different ways. Scroll below to learn how to add links with the following methods:

Add Web Links Individually in the Post Editor
Add Web Links via the Link Library in the Post Editor
Add Web Links from the RSS Feed Reader in the Post Editor
Add Bulk Web Links
Add Web Links from the Chrome Extension


Go to your Dashboard or Posts section and click on the Create Post button.

or Create Post via Posts Page



Select a 'Template' you would like to use or 'Start From Scratch'




1️⃣Add Web Links Individually in the Post Editor

Once you've opened the editor, start adding web links by pasting the URL of any type of web content. elink will immediately start fetching the title, description, and image. Add as many web links as you would like around any topic to make create content.



Once the weblink has been fetched you can click the edit pencil icon on your visual weblink tile to edit the image, title, or description and add your own voice to it.





2️⃣Add Web links via the Link Library Inside the Post Editor

elink's Link Library is where all of your web links are stored.

Click on the Library Link button in the post editor.



Select the links you want to include in your posts from the link library and click the Insert button on top.



elink Note: You can search your Link Library by title, description, tags and source. You can also filter by links that have been added based on the type of content, when they were added to the library or by labels.


3️⃣Add Web Links from Your RSS Feed Reader

Click on the RSS Feed button in the post editor.



You can select up to 10 posts at a time from the RSS Feed Reader and click the Insert button on top.



elink Note: You can filter by different publications and you can search your RSS Feeds by keywords.


4️⃣Add Bulk Web Links

You can also add multiple links to your elink collection in one go.

Click on the Bulk Links button in the post editor.



Add a list of URLs separated by lines and click the Save button.




5️⃣Add Web Links from the Chrome Extension:

Regardless of whether you elink is published or in draft state you can add additional web links to your elink content. Each new web link added will move into the first position of the post. Here's how you can use the Chrome Extension to add web links to your content:

Download the Chrome Extension
Go to any website, article or digital resource you want to save.
Choose one of the ways you want to save content to your elink posts using elink's Chrome Extension:

👉Click on the elink icon in your Chrome browser and choose an image from the image gallery.



👉Or right click on a particular image on a page and select Save page with the image.



👉Or right click the page and select Save this page.



👉Or right click on a link on a page and select Save this link.



You can click the pencil button to edit the post and when it's perfect, click Add to Post.



Select the post you want to add it to and click the plus button next to it. You can select as many different posts as you want to insert your content in. If you need to create a new post you can do that by clicking the Create New Post button on the bottom left of the pop up.
