๐Ÿ”— Troubleshoot - I Can't Save a Weblink?

Why won't my link save?

There are occasional times when you add a link to the elink editor and elink isn't able to save your link. There are a few reasons why this may occur. Here are some steps we recommend that you take when this happens:

Download elink's Browser Extension - you can download elink's Chrome Extension, elink's Firefox Extension or elink's Edge Extension

Go to any website, article or digital resource you want to save.

Choose one of the ways you want to save content to your elink posts using elink's Chrome Extension.

๐Ÿ‘‰Click on the elink icon in your browser.

๐Ÿ‘‰Or right click the page and select 'Save this page.'

On the first step you will choose an image that best represents your content. You can also take a screenshot or click 'skip.'

Your content will automatically be saved to your bookmark library.

You can edit the image, title, and description.

Now, click on the 'Add to Post' button.

Select any post in draft state or published state and add your bookmark to your content without opening up elink.

(Optional) If you'd like to create a new post click on 'Create Post'.

Important Tip: Don't keep elink's editor opened for the same post that you're adding content to. It can cause overwriting issues.

III If your link still doesn't save after following these steps, leave us an in-app chat message or email, along with the weblink and we'd be happy to take a look.

๐ŸŽ™ If you have any questions or suggestions, please message us on our in-app chat or send us an email.
